About Inpatient Programming
Inpatient programming is a short-term treatment option for individuals who are facing acute mental health concerns. The average length of stay in this program is seven to 10 days, but the actual duration may vary based on each patient’s individual needs.
At our hospital, our staff provides support and guidance to help patients manage their symptoms and enhance their emotional well-being. Our goal with our inpatient programs is to help individuals gain the tools and skills they need to transition to a lower level of care or return home.
Patients can take part in a range of therapies, like:
- Individual therapy: Tailored sessions, conducted by a licensed social worker, where patients can talk openly about challenges they are facing
- Group therapy: Daily group sessions, offering a safe space where individuals can share experiences, learn coping strategies, and improve communication skills
- Family therapy: Customized sessions, allowing patients to address family dynamics and build healthier relationships
- Experiential therapy: Daily activities, including art, music, and recreation therapy, fostering creative expression and self-discovery
In addition to therapy, patients may receive medical support, such as:
- Basic medical care: Services provided by family medicine doctors and nurse practitioners (NPs)
- Medication management: Consultations conducted by psychiatrists and medication monitoring from nurses
